GENERATION UNLIMITED

Project Objective: This project will help support the government strengthen the techn and innovation ecosystem through helping provide opportunities for young Sierra Leoneans to innovate and be mentored.

52 young people from 10 districts participated in a seven-day bootcamp on Problem solving, growth mindset, stakeholders mapping and emotional intelligence 

Gen U participants from SL won a global award 

Easy STEM Server piloted and deployed in Tassor Island to aid Learning 

A global and local initiative, Generation Unlimited aims to transfer education, employment, and entrepreneurial outcomes for young people (10-24) around the world, by bringing together businesses, governments, and the United Nations’ reach and network. GenU is helping young people become co-creators and develop their own innovative solutions to the challenges in their lives. Young people are already involved in co-designing and implementing solutions in over 40 countries through the generation unlimited youth challenge 2019/20 and the global volunteer initiative.

Team Lorem, the emerging team on the generation unlimited youth challenge, competed against 10,000 submissions from 37 countries & won 15,000 USD in seed money & mentorship at the GenUnlimited_ imaGen Ventures Global #Youth Challenge.
