 Project Objective: The project will support the Government of Sierra Leone’s plan in reducing the Maternal Mortality Ratio from 770 per 100,000 live births to 300 per 100,000 live births through data-driven interventions. 

 Partners: DSTI, UNFPA & MOHS  

 Project impact/ status update:  

Solution piloted in 40 health facilities (western urban and rural) 

Over 3,200 pregnant women registered. Each with unique system generated identification numbers 

More than 214 women have completed 4 ANCs, 1 Maternal death registered and investigated 

23 referrals done In-app (real-time) 

160 health personnel trained to record in use of the tool.  

Tablets were distributed to all PHU’s

Pregnancy Registration and Service Tracking application (mobile and web based with on and offline capabilities)
