Mahmoud Sheriff Javombo holds a BA from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Also, holds a certificate from the US State Department prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program in Business Development for Entrepreneurs. Mahmoud have a strong background in grassroots resource mobilization(human and capital), including tremendous experience in national and international project implementations, especially tied to Youth leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He worked for six years as the Program Director of Innovate Salone, one of Global Minimum Inc. flagship programs. Global Minimum Inc is an International organisation that runs Innovation Competitions and does have a platform that creates the making environment through the InChallenge and Innovation Lab projects. At Global Minimum, he acquired significant experiences in development work especially empowering young people to serve as community leaders and active problem solvers.

Before Global Minimum and just after his undergraduate studies, he had spent three years with Network movement for Justice and development, a national non governmental organisation with a vision of improving the human rights situations in Sierra Leone. That experience helped him tremendously to understanding both global and grassroots project implementations and resource mobilizations. Meaning, Mahmoud had had the opportunity to work with both national and international partners for successful program and project delivery. These experiences and more than 10 years of project implementations and Managements have prepared him to be knowledgeable in project management, implementation and program development. Because of these experiences, he had developed excellent interpersonal communication skills.
