Reporting to: Field Supervisors
Duration: 3 Weeks
Start date: November 2020
Duty station: Freetown with possible travels to other districts in Sierra Leone

Role Description:

  • Field staff to administer data collection
  • Collect accurate data using agreed methods
  • Review data gathered from interviews to ensure data collected is thorough, accurate and paints a complete picture
  • Recognize and give an account of problems in obtaining data.
  • Actively participate in the enumerator training. The training will entail research ethics, sampling techniques, mock surveys. etc.
  • Comply with the requirements of the DSTI data protection policy to ensure maximum protection for the targeted groups.
  • Must be part of the DSTI ecosystems Technical working group.

Relevant Skills:

  • Experience with survey data collection.
  • Experience with tablets or other technology for digital data collection.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate well.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, fluency in communicating in English.
